3. PRODUCTION AND FINANCIAL INDICATORS Main operating performance of Western Branch of KazTransOil JSC for 7 months of 2011. The volume of oil transported by the Western branch for 9 months of 2011 equals to 27 738 thou. tons, while plan was 28 201 thou. tons, which is 462 thou. tons less or equal to 98%. In comparison with a similar period of 2010 (26 949 thou. tons) volume of oil transportation by the Western branch increased for 790 thou. tons or 103%. Deterioration of oil transportation volume of the plan is basically explained by reduction of oil production volume PF «OzenMunaiGas» of «Exploration Production «KazMunaiGas» JSC. Increase of oil transportation volume to the similar period of 2010 is explained by growth of volumes of oil delivery to the network of Western branch of KazTransOil JSC by Tengizchevroil LLP and Karachaganak Petroleum Operating. Oil cargo turnover on Western branch for 9 months of 2011 equals to 15 783 mln. tons km, while plan was 15 761 mln. tons km, which is for 22 mln. tons km more or 100%. Water supply in comparison with fact of the similar period of 2010 (16 587 thou. m3) equals to 98% or 16 202 thou. m3. Implementation of plan for 2011 which is 13 661 thou. m3 equaled to 119%. 4. PERSONNEL DEVELOPMENT Annually KazTransOil JSC invests substantial funds for planned and targeted development of staff. Thus, for 9 months of 2011 1 615 employees of Western branch accomplished various trainings, factual expenses equaled to 28 014 thou.tenge (excluding business trip expenses). Corporate competitions Within the frames of social and personnel policy of KazTransOil JSC the annual competitions the “Best oil pumping station” and “the Best Professional” have been held. These competitions create a corporate spirit of the Company; allow knowing better the specific of the work, stimulating the employees for qualitative and safe labor. The competitions have been held since 1999. 5. SOCIAL ACTIVITY The “Regulation on social guarantees, benefits to employees of KazTransOil JSC” functions in the Company from the day of its establishment for the purposes of social support of employees, creation of favorable conditions for high labor performance. A special attention is paid to veterans and pensioners. They are paid monthly benefits, bonuses to the holidays. High level of labor organization on the enterprise is among the number of crucial indicators, but still a social policy ensuring a deserved leisure of employees is of no less importance. Moreover, KazTransOil JSC constantly supports a healthy lifestyle of its employees by organizing sport events, competitions, Olympiads. A special operating commission was established in the Western branch, which renders social assistance, material assistance and social benefits, trying to satisfy needs of socially vulnerable groups of the region: orphanages and boarding schools, support of public organizations and non-governmental agencies, as well as care of its employees. 6.
