JSC “KazTransOil” (the Company) while being the largest Kazakhstan pipeline operator, understands potential possibility of negative effect to the environment, health of personnel and local population of its production activities. Being responsible on the commitments given customers of services, the state, society, and personnel, JSC “KazTransOil” improves its activity and for that reason it introduced and constantly improves integrated system of management of control, environment, heath and safety in accordance with international standards of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001.

Ensuring environmental safety and ecological security

The compliance of JSC “KazTransOil” to international requirements was confirmed by world known bodies of certification such as TUV Rheinland Inter Cert and DNV.

Apart from that being hundred percent state owned enterprise, in the framework of realization of industrial-innovational policy, the Company decided to certify ISM in the state system of technical regulation.

National center of expertise and certification confirmed that ISM of JSC “KazTransOil” also complies with requirements of state standards of ST RK ISO 9001:2001 and 14001:2004. The result was the registration of JSC “KazTransOil” in the register of state system of technical regulation and issuance of correspondent certificates to the Company.

The management of JSC “KazTransOil” realizes that the fact of successful certification it is not only the beginning of the big and constant wok on improvement of its activity for the benefit of the state and the society. JSC “KazTransOil” constantly follows up on the level of quality of its services and customer satisfaction. Intense work with oil producing companies helps determining areas of possible improvement. While critically assessing its activity, the Company determines the level of its effect on environment and the level of existing risk of the personnel, subcontractors, and visitors of JSC “KazTransOil”. The management of the Company takes direct part in determining measures aimed at minimization of negative effect of production on the environment and health of people.

JSC “KazTransOil” pays significant attention to the issues of staff preparation. Personnel of JSC “KazTransOil” constantly goes through capacity building aimed at improvement of professional knowledge and skills, as well as at raising awareness of the responsibility for the protection of environment and safety at work place.

JSC “KazTransOil” does not stop at the achieved level; it constantly improves technological and managerial processes, adopts progressive global experience. The management of the Company made commitments on maintaining Integrated system of management and formulated them in the Policy of JSC “KazTransOil” in the field of management of quality, environment and safety.
