«MunaiTas» North-West Pipeline Company LLP («MunaiTas» NWPC) – a legal entity with foreign participation, whose participants are «KazTransOil» JSC (51% participation) and CNPC Exploration and Development Company Ltd. (49% participation), established in December 2001.
«MunaiTas» NWPC is a subject of natural monopolies.
«MunaiTas» NWPC is the owner of the «Kenkiyak-Atyrau» oil trunk pipeline, which was put into operation in 2004. The length of the main oil pipeline is 455,1 km, the diameter is 610 mm, the current capacity – 6 mln tons/g.
The oil pipeline is used to transport oil from fields in the Aktobe and Atyrau regions for: processing at the Atyrau Refinery, transshipment of oil to the Atyrau - Samara and CPC oil pipelines, as well as to railway transport.
